Loveland Downtown Partnership and Blazen Illuminations Launch Loveland Downtown District LIVE Event Series 


Starting June 24, this free event showcases downtown Loveland businesses, creators and vibrant core

LOVELAND, Colo. – May 31, 2017 – Downtown Loveland is the place to be this summer as the Loveland Downtown Partnership and Blazen Illuminations have launched the new Loveland Downtown District LIVE event series, launching June 24.


At the heart of Loveland’s thriving community is its inspired and creative core and a community of visionaries, creators, entrepreneurs and entertainers producing a vibe that can only be found in the downtown district. The NEW Loveland Downtown District LIVE event series brings together the heart and soul of Loveland for a unique block party experience. Join the action June 24, July 29 and Sept. 23 from 2 – 9 p.m. on 4 th Street from Lincoln Ave. to Cleveland Ave for music, art, shopping and the best of Loveland’s downtown vibe. Explore the businesses and meet the people who bring life and energy to downtown. Bring the kids for a fun afternoon, or make it a
date night or girls night out in the evening. Dance, shop, eat and celebrate the only way we do it downtown – LIVE and full of ENERGY! Stop by the Loveland Downtown Partnership booth for information and recommendations.


The series kicks off with its first event Saturday, June 24 with a stellar lineup, great demonstrations, vendors, local businesses, galleries and breweries.


Music:

  • 2 p.m.: Mojo Medicine Show
  • 4 p.m.: Dave Beegle solo acoustic performance
  • 6 p.m.: Steve Manshel duo performance
  • 8 p.m.: Dale Cisek Band

Demonstrations and Artistic Performances:

  • Alice in Wonderland Character Stop : Krazy Hearts Designs Assemblage Artist GiGi Deal will be appearing as the Queen of Hearts with other Alice in Wonderland characters. A larger-than-life Alice in Wonderland Party will be hosted at the ArtSpace Discovery Zone.
  • The Rocky Mountain High Flyers Guild will be sharing their adventures and part of a sculpture they have been building for the Burning Man festival.
  • “Rock Music with stone sculptor Kathryn Vinson : Local artist Kathryn Vinson demonstrates her rock carving skills LIVE.
  • Airbrush artist Melissa Barbee will be showing off her airbrush painting skills by the stage.

Downtown District launches color-filled Hop. Skip. Jump. this Friday!

The Hop.Skip.Jump. program is designed to help people find parking, direct them to what's happening where and when, all in the midst of the construction going on downtown.

During May 12th's Night on the Town, visitors are invited to HOP from shop to shop, SKIP along the sidewalks to discover hidden artworks and interact with unique selfie spots and JUMP into one of the pedicabs and enjoy the ride. Anyone finding the hidden gems, special artwork and sidewalk secrets are encouraged to share photos on social media using #LoveHopSkipJump.
