Don’t miss the Plein Art Festival and Auction Saturday, May 20 in Loveland, Colorado. This free family-friendly festival showcases 50 Colorado artists as they masterfully paint works of art open air and on location throughout Loveland.

Artists will be painting in several locations throughout Loveland from 10:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.

  • Downtown Loveland
  • Sweetheart City Winery
  • The outdoor space north of Rangeview Office Campus overlooking Houts Reservoir, Equalizer Lake in Centerra and High Plains Environmental Center.
  • Main Plaza at The Promenade Shops at Centerra and Chapungu Sculpture Park

The Governor’s Art Show is presented by Loveland and Thompson Valley Rotary Clubs, directed by Pam Osborn and endorsed by the Governor of Colorado.

The University of Colorado Denver Transmedia Sculpture Program IGNITES creative energy at the Loveland Museum! Sparks will fly during an outdoor bronze and iron pour demonstration by Rian Kerrane and her students. Watch as the team works with their nomadic foundry to melt bronze and iron turning molten metal into breathtaking art. Rian and her students will be available for you to ask questions and learn more about the process.

Downtown District launches color-filled Hop. Skip. Jump. this Friday!

The Hop.Skip.Jump. program is designed to help people find parking, direct them to what's happening where and when, all in the midst of the construction going on downtown.

During May 12th's Night on the Town, visitors are invited to HOP from shop to shop, SKIP along the sidewalks to discover hidden artworks and interact with unique selfie spots and JUMP into one of the pedicabs and enjoy the ride. Anyone finding the hidden gems, special artwork and sidewalk secrets are encouraged to share photos on social media using #LoveHopSkipJump.
