There are no limits as to genre or style, so come ready to speak, act, sing, play, draw or collaborate at the Dev Sessions. Each performer will perform with a professional sound system and lighting setup. Additionally, the event will be recorded and made available to each performer by request.

Prizes! Each performer will receive a pair of tickets to a movie at the Rialto. From independent films in our Phyllis Walbye Film series to our Holiday film favorites, there is something for everyone.

Jacki Marsh grew up a shy, insecure girl in an age when there were many false barriers set for women. Running was her way to cope and to gain confidence. She organized races in her neighborhood against much older kids and won. With no public funding for women's athletics, at age twelve, she began running with a private running club - The San Jose Cindergals.

When Jacki started competitive running in 1967, women were not allowed to compete in distances longer than a mile and a half for fear that they would collapse under the strain. By age 14, Jacki was regularly running 100 miles a week as training. In 1972, at the age of 17, Jacki won the world's first all women's road race, the Legg's Mini-Marathon, 6 miles through New York's Central Park. Three weeks later on June 23rd, 1972, Title XI was signed into law.

Come celebrate following your passion and get encouraged to chase your own dreams.
